WWE RAW Power Rankings: The Yes Movement in Full Effect, Kinda

Wrestlemania is just around the corner and this week’s RAW began to smooth out a nice chunk of the card. With plenty of attention played to the upper-portion of the event, it appears The Usos will have an opponent for the spectacular, while Sheamus will be a part of the Andre the Giant Battle Royal. While there’s still plenty left to do before the big show, things continue to come together. Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to see who was stirring the pot just three weeks before Wrestlemania XXX.

Honorable Mention: Triple H: Damn, was Triple H on fire on the microphone this week on RAW. His announcement that he’d join the Main Event at Wrestlemania XXX if he defeats Daniel Bryan was epic. Pissed off and ready to strike, the Cerebral Assassin had one of his best week’s on the show since his feud with Brock Lesnar. Still of one of the most charismatic performers in the company, it makes sense that Triple H will be in the ring with one of the most gifted storytellers the company has in Bryan.

5: The Real Americans: Although it was just a non-title match, The Real Americans win over the Usos this week on RAW is the biggest in the team’s history. With their internal squabbles well-documented, there’s plenty of passion and drama between Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro to captivate fans. Add in Zeb Colter and the duos excellent working ability and you may have the next World Tag Team champions. It may not be what Cesaro or his fans want or deserve, but it should be a fun sidestep before he challenges for the Intercontinental title and eventually the WWE World Heavyweight title.

4: The Shield: All of a sudden this guys are faces? While they haven’t been heels in months either, it’s nice to see that these guys can work in a variety of different roles and still find ways to thrive. Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns are all future World Champions in one way or another and the WWE knows that, hence the reason why they’ve been in the ring with some of the biggest names in the company since the first second they entered the company. Even though they don’t have a match yet for Wrestlemania, expect that to change very soon.

3: John Cena: All set for his bout with Bray Wyatt at Wrestlemania, Cena is playing his role as a concerned veteran face well. No longer in the WWE World Heavyweight title picture, Cena works just as well putting younger guys over. At this point in his career, he doesn’t need to wear a gold strap to validate his career. He already has. But in a match with Wyatt, he can continue to maintain his popularity with fans and help create new stars. It’s what’s best for business.

2: Randy Orton: He’s not a happy man, but that’s when he’s usually at his best. Just like that, Orton nailed Batista with an RKO during this week’s opening segment on RAW and just like that, Orton could retain his title at Wrestlemania. Still one of the company’s most entertaining stars, Orton is still trying to find his spot as a top heel. Cutting some of his best promo on RAW this week as well, Orton clearly and easily stacked the deck in Bryan’s favor, but his match with him later in the night continued another trend- Orton always makes sure he’s in the mix.

1: Daniel Bryan: Batista and Randy Orton aren’t happy at the prospects of Bryan possibly gaining entry into the Wrestlemania XXX Main Event, but who cares. The company’s most popular and most talented star for the past 10 months, Bryan deserves a legitimate Wrestlemania moment, especially after his infamous 18-second loss to Sheamus a few years ago. With another respectable showing against Randy Orton this week on RAW and the beating he received at the hands of Triple H, Bryan continues to make sure he plays a role in every intuiting moment on RAW.
