WWE RAW Power Rankings: Powered By Youth and Yes

The go-home show before Extreme Rules was an intriguing blend of drama and in-ring action.

With several feuds continuing to build tension, it’s easy to see that this weekend’s PPV, usually considered the weakest of the year, could be surprisingly strong.

Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to see who has us the most excited for this weekend’s Extreme Rules pay per view.

Honorable Mention: Jimmy and Jey Uso: The best Tag Team in the world today, The Usos had a pretty solid match with Ryback and Curtis Axel this week and look primed to defend their titles at Extreme Rules. With a lack of competition in the division and their popularity soaring, they don’t appear to be losing the Tag Team titles anytime soon.

5: John Cena: His promo to start this week’s show was an emotional one. His question to the WWE Universe as to why they like Bray Wyatt was also an intriguing one. With his heart literally broke, will Cena finally break bad? Will he become the heel he feels most? Can he take out The Wyatt Family this week at Extreme Rules and save himself? Regardless of what happens this weekend, Cena is an excellent upper-mid carder and one that can play an integral role in getting Wyatt and a host of other young WWE Superstars over.

4: Antonio Cesaro: With his new Perry Saturn-esque theme and in-ring ability and Paul Heyman by his side, Cesaro is obviously a future singles champion. His win over Jack Swagger this week on RAW is proof once again that he is one of the top performers in the company today. He’s quickly developing feud with Rob Van Dam could be a ton of fun to watch.

3: The Shield: Roman Reigns excellent performance against Randy Orton this week and another killer promo from the trio this week on RAW prove the sky is the limit for The Shield. The endorsement from Ric Flair was pretty cool as well. Their matchup against Evolution at Extreme Rules will be one of the highlights of the card.

2: Bray Wyatt: The “little babies” singing in the palm of his hands this week was haunting. Win or lose at Extreme Rules, Wyatt has proven he can work in a feud with John Cena. Can you say future WWE Champion?

1: Daniel Bryan: He’s down, but he’s not out. With the odds stacked against him once again, expect awesome things from the WWE World Heavyweight Champion this week against Kane at Extreme Rules.
