NXT Takeover Power Rankings: Neville Turning Heel?

Surprising newcomers and a trio of awesome title matches ounded out one of the best two-hour show’s in NXT history.

Check out this week’s NXT Takeover Power Rankings to see who left the two-hour special with the promotion’s three titles and who else managed to steal some of the spotlight for themselves.

Honorable Mention: Baron Corbin: Talk about a debut. No one likes CJ Parker, but Corbin just destroyed him in a matter of seconds with a crazy Modified Swinging Complete Shot. Although he needs some polish in terms of his upper body, he’s got a great look and plenty of potential.

5: Sin Cara and Kalisto: This was not the team anyone expected to beat The Ascension, but that’s exactly what happened. Solid luchadors that the fans appreciate, they look to take the NXT Tag Team division in a new direction, one fueled by quality matches and not squash matches.

4: Hideo Itami: The renamed Kenta made a big splash taking out former Tag Team Champions The Ascension all by his lonesome, with vicious kicks and some high-flying maneuvers. Make no mistake, this is a future NXT Champion.

3: Charlotte Flair: The queen of NXT, Flair was taken to the limit by Bailey, but managed to keep her belt. Now with Sasha Banks on her radar, the stakes just got raised even more. Downing everyone in her path, Flair is quickly carving a legacy for herself in NXT.

2: Sami Zayn: Although he came up short in his bid for the NXT title, Zayn once again proved he is bt far one of the best workers in the WWE. So close to winning the title, Zayn is going to be hungrier than ever moving forward.

1: Adrian Neville: “The Man That Gravity Forgot” spent most of the Fatal Four-Way Match at Takeover outside of the ring, but made the most of several opportunities, successfully defending his title, even if he used questionable tactics to do so. With Tyson Kidd, Sami Zayn and Tyler Breeze all ousted from title contention for now, who’s next for Neville?
