Impact Wrestling Power Rankings: Tag Team Turmoil

With plenty of brawling and a solid Tag Team Tournament, this week’s Impact also got help thanks to more tomfoolery from the Beat Down Clan and more drama surrounding the TNA World Heavyweight title.

Check out this week’s TNA Impact Wrestling Power Rankings to see who walked away with Tag Team gold.

Honorable Mention: The Knockouts: This week’s upcoming Night of Knockouts is only possible due to the sheer depth in the division. Even the mid-card performers in the division, Madison Rayne, and Angelina Love are a step above most of the women in the WWE. Add Gail Kim, Taryn Terrell and Awesome Kong to the mix and it’s easy to see where the best female performers work. With he promise of new Knockouts being added and a Taryn Terrell/Awesome Kong main event, it should be an interesting night.

5: Eric Young: The former TNA World Heavyweight Champion is crazy, but he’s still dangerous. Eager to get his title back, there’s nothing he won’t do. But has Kurt Angle found a way to get in his head?

4: The Rising: Drew Galloway, Eli Drake, and Micah were able to limit the damage done to Kurt Angle by the BDC this week, but they need more time on the mic and in the ring before we take them seriously.

3: The Beat Down Clan: The faction’s newest member, Homicide, made an impact beating on Kurt Angle on Impact. Soon enough, MVP, King, and Low-Ki joined the party and continued the mugging. How will this affect Angle’s match with Eric Young next week?

2: Kurt Angle: Eric Young wants a piece and Angle is more than happy to oblige. A fighting champion, Angle has injected a ton of passion and intestinal fortitude to the TNA World Heavyweight title picture. At the same time, he’s not above mind games either, making Young take a closer look at his actions over the past few months. Their match this week will be a solid one.

1: Matt and Jeff Hardy: The new TNA World Tag Team Champions, the Hardy Boys are once again in a league of their own.
