Aftershokz Gamez Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones Review: Affordable and Awesome

The world of mobile gaming headphones is a small one, but after a few hours with the Aftershokz Gamez Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones, you won’t have a reason to try any other.

Powered by a futuristic, comfortable design, the headphones rest wonderfully right above your ears- to the point where you’ll often forget that they are on. For a pair of thin and flexible headphones, they also pack a wicked punch, but never to the point where you’ll feel blasted out of your ears. Even at full volume, the person next to you won’t feel the need to tell you to lower it.

With such a solid experience in terms of sound and comfort, the Aftershokz Gamez Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones are a cheaper and cooler alternative to higher-end audio products from well-known companies the likes of Beats and Bose. Add in nifty Voice Prompts that allow you to do everything from power down and pair the device, it’s just as functional as it is cool.

Pros:

Comfortable: They don’t go in your ear and the lightweight band will often make you forget they’re even on. They don’t go in your ear and the lightweight band will often make you forget they’re even on.

Will Work in “Drizzle” and in “Sweaty” Situations: Out for a walk and it starts to rain? In the gym and breaking a big sweat? The headphones will work the same way they always do.

Great Mics: Once you start using the headphones and you get a call, that’s where the real value comes apparent. Crystal-clear sound from the dual mics make this a pair of headphones you’ll want to much more than mobile game with.

Cons:

Bluetooth Connection Not Perfect: If you put your phone in your shirt pocket and then put a heavy, winter jacket on and zip it, you could experience some connection issues from time to time.

Final Thoughts:

While the Aftershokz Gamez Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones are marketed as Gaming Headphones, thanks to awesome dual miss and a comfortable design, they end up as so much more. Cheaper than a pair of Beats and not nearly as bulky, the futuristic-looking headphones have what it takes to become your everyday ear-buds.
