CANE HILL TO RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM, ‘SMILE,’ ON JULY 15

Raging New Orleans rock outfit Cane Hill will release their long-awaited, highly anticipated debut, full-length album, Smile, on July 15th via Rise Records. Their fans, AKA Patient(s), will be able to pre-order the album and get a taste of their first single in April.

Cane Hill’s first album, Smile, was recorded with producer WZRD BLD in Hollywood, CA earlier this year. The record follows the band’s 2015 critically heralded, self-titled EP, which featured a number of riotous singles like “Time Bomb” (feat. Tyler “Scout” Acord), “Sunday School and “Ox Blood.” Coming this summer, one of America’s most furious new bands will deliver a savage new record that will undoubtedly elevate the band into heavy rock’s most elite acts.

“We’re more excited for this release than anything we’ve done as a band,” says vocalist Elijah Witt. “I think we’ve finally figured out exactly what we are, and everything else was just a trial run. We’ve honed in on the violence and honesty that we’ve felt music has lacked.”

When it came time to name their album, rock’s vicious newcomers came up with the ironically titled Smile. A tongue-in-cheek homage to their unrelenting sound and ferocious stage show. “We want to see you smile, and then we’ll break those pretty little teeth,” Witt adds.

Leading up to the release, Cane Hill will embark on a tour of the U.S. with Atreyu, which will be followed by festival dates and extensive worldwide touring thereafter.

“2016 is the year that Cane Hill has the chance to become a name you recognize and get excited for,” says Witt. “We’re playing Rock on the Range and Rockville in America and Download in the UK, touring with epics like Atreyu…and it’s only February. We have so many secrets to tell you.”
