Review Fix: What was the inspiration for “We Got Tonight”?

Christian O: Summertime love. That type of love that you enjoy because it’s exciting and sexy, but you know it has an expiration date. Ultimately, live in the moment, don’t be afraid to lose yourself a little to that type of love, indulge in it.

Review Fix: What’s your creative process like?

Christian O: This song started with the beat, I got to the studio and my producer was already playing with these sounds. It reminded me of an experience I had living in Southeast Asia. The rest is history.

Review Fix: Who influences you guys musically? Did they play a role in this song?

Christian O: Everything. From 90s R&B, to house, to Red Hot Chili Peppers, to Drake. Everything! For “We Got Tonight,” my producer found the perfect marriage of contemporary pop with hints of sounds reminiscent to those I’d hear in music in some Southeast Asian countries.

Review Fix: How do you want this song to be remembered?

Christian O: A fun, sexy summertime, feel good song that makes you think of someone really specific when you hear it. We all have those.

Review Fix: What are your goals for the rest of the year?

Christian O: More videos and the release of my first studio album in the fall, which I’m so excited about.

Review Fix: Bottom line, why should someone listen to this song?

Christian O: It’s one of those songs that just makes you want to groove, who doesn’t want to groove?!

Review Fix: What’s next?

Christian O: The “Wild Kids” video will be premiering soon, make sure you check it out! The “We Got Tonight” video will follow this summer.
