NXT UK Coverage: The Devlin’s in the Details

The anticipation for this week’s NXT UK is at an all-time high. With a “Raw after ‘Mania” feeling to it, we finally get to see the aftermath of TakeOver: Blackpool. In the main event, Travis Banks attempted to take his revenge against Jordan Devlin for injuring him before their match at the live special.

Matches:

Nina Samuels vs. Lana Austin: Samuels won with the Primadonna in a surprisingly competitive bout.

Eddie Dennis vs. Jamie Ahmed:Dennis jumped his competitor at the bell and didn’t let up. Ahmed managed to sneak in a few punches and a Superkick until Dennis planted him with a Superplex. The former headmaster followed it up with a Neck Stomp Driver for the one, two, three.

Jordan Devlin vs. Travis Banks:Banks didn’t bother waiting for the bell, attacking Devlin as soon as he made it to the ring. The Kiwi Buzzsaw was out for blood, pummeling the Irish Ace with stiff strikes, and Devlin returned the favor. The Irish-born Wrestler kicked out of a Kiwi Crusher at two and seven eighths. Devlin went for the Island’s Call but didn’t have enough gas in left in the tank and dumped himself and Banks out of the ring. Neither men were able to make it back by the count of ten, ending the match with a double count out.

After the bell, the pair continues to brawl as the show faded to black.
