WWE RAW Coverage: The Club Reborn

The first RAW of the Heyman era featured a heck of a lot of in-ring action and some interesting storyline (Maria Kanellis pregnant and destroying her husband on the mic), but it wasn’t a huge leap ahead in any stretch of the imagination.

Away from the reformation of The Club, RAW needs help.

Matches:

Falls Count Anywhere Match: Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Lashley: These guys beat the holy hell out of each other, but after Strowman Speared Lashley through the LED board, the match ended in a No-Contest.

The New Day: Big E. Langston and Xavier Woods vs. The Viking Raiders: Erik and Ivar: After Samoa Joe got involved and Kofi Kingston came to his rescue, this got restarted as a Six-Man tag.

The New Day: WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, Big E. Langston and Xavier Woods vs. Samoa Joe and The Viking Raiders: Erik and Ivar:

Lots of back and forth, but the shift Joe capitalized and won with the Kokina Clutch.

Cesaro vs. No Way Jose: This had more to do with the 24/7 title as R-Truth and Drake Maverick fought before Cesaro took out Jose with a Neutralizer on the outside.

Lacey Evans w/Baron Corbin vs. Natalya Neidhart: Evans got the win with the Women’s Right after Nattie was too busy yapping with Corbin.

Two-Out-Of-Three-Falls The Miz vs. Elias: After the two traded pitfalls, The Miz won with a Figure-Four.

Maria and Mike Kanellis vs. Universal Champion Seth Rollins and WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch: Maria said she was pregnant and Mike got tapped out by Becky with the Dis-Arm-Her. A weird segment that felt out of place.

Carmella vs. Alexa Bliss w/Nikki Cross: After she called out Bliss, Carmella wasted no time and won with a Rollup.

Nikki Cross w/Alexa Bliss vs. Carmella: Although Carmella was solid, Cross won with the Neckbreaker variation.

United States Champion Ricochet vs. AJ Styles: This happened quick and Styles won with the Phenomenal Forearm, but Ricochet’s leg was under the rope. Once another ref hit the ring and the match was restarted and the call was reversed. With Gallows and Anderson ringside this time around, Ricochet dominated before Styles went on a tear with a Brainbuster and Rock Bomb. However, won with a pinning combination out of nowhere. After the match, Styles beat on Ricochet before Gallows and Anderson hit the Magic Killer and Styles nailed him with the Styles Clash from the top rope.
