NXT UK Coverage: TakeOver Ready

The build-up to Cardiff is well underway with plenty of story progression in this week’s episode of NXT UK. The second NXT UK: TakeOver special is looking to top the first in every way, and if the feuds keep heating up like the did this week, it will do just that.

Matches:

Noam Dar vs. Ashton Smith: It’s always a pleasure to watch Smith work, sooner or later he’ll undoubtedly move up the card. Unfortunately for him, he caught a Nova Roller in the mouth and went down for the one, two, three.

Xia Brookside and Piper Niven vs. Jinny and Jazzy Gabert: Rhea Ripley came out to ringside and brawled with Piper Niven all the way to the back, leaving Brookside to fend off Jinny and Gabert on her own. She put up a valiant effort, but the numbers game proved to be too much, and a Dominator from Gabert won the match for the heels.

Joe Coffey w/ Mark Coffey and Wolfgang vs. Dave Mastiff: These are two of the most agile hosses in all of WWE and watching them collide is like watching a Monster-Truck Demolition Derby. Both men took hard bumps and couldn’t make it back to the ring by the count of ten, ending the match in a double disqualification, which could possibly lead to an encounter at TakeOver: Cardiff.
