AEW: All Out Coverage: Jericho Ushers in AEW Era

One year ago All In marked the beginning of a new era in Professional Wrestling. At All Out, All Elite Wrestling crowned their first World Champion. It was a stacked card from top to bottom. The hype for this show was off the charts. One thing is certain though. History was made at All Out.

Matches:

SoCal Uncensored: Scorpio Sky, Frankie Kazarian, and Cristopher Daniels vs. Jurassic Express: Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, and Marco Stunt: SCU picked up the win with a Double Best Meltzer Ever. But even in defeat, Jungle Express came out of this looking like a million bucks.

“The Bastard” PAC vs. Kenny Omega: To the surprise of no one, PAC and Omega tore the house down. Omega tried repeatedly to hit the One-Winged Angel but couldn’t find it. Instead, the Bastard put him to sleep with the Brutalizer.

The Cracker Barrel Clash: Darby Allin vs. Joey Janela vs. Jimmy Havoc:Somehow, there was minimal blood in a match where Darby Allin Ollied a Skateboard with tacks stuck in the bottom off the back of Joey Janela. Put simply, it was a car crash in slow motion. In the end, Havoc stood talk by putting Janela through a barrel with an Acid Rainmaker.

The Dark Order: Evil Uno and Stu Grayson w/ The Creepers vs. Best Friends: Trent Seven and Chuck Taylor: Winner gets a bye in the first round of the upcoming Tag Team Championship Tournament:The Dark Order took the win with a Gory Bomb/ Cutter combination. After the match, the Creepers jumped the Best Friends, but “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy made the save.

Hikaru Shida vs. Riho: Winner faces Nyla Rose to become the inaugural AEW Women’s Champion: Shida threw Riho a beating for most of the match but Riho rallied and stole the win with a Roll-Up.

Cody w/ Maxwell Jacob Friedman vs. Shawn Spears w/ Tully Blanchard:Cody Disaster Kicked a chair into Spears’s head and followed up with a Cross Rhoads for the win. But not without an assist in the form of a Spine Buster from Arn Anderson.

AAA World Tag Team Championship Escalera De La Muerte Match: The Lucha Bros: Rey F=nix and Pentagon Jr. vs. The Young Bucks: Nick and Matt Jackson:  “Ladder of Death” Match was the perfect name for this bout because the Lucha Bros just about murdered the Bucks. It was high spot after high spot in the fastest twenty-plus minutes ever. After a grueling war, the Lucha Bros. stood tall and retained the AAA World Tag Team Championships.

AEW World Championship Match: “Hangman” Adam Page vs. Chris Jericho: While he donned a crimson mask, Chris Jericho nailed Page with a Judas Effect to become the inaugural AEW World Champion.
