AEW Dynamite Results: Inside Circle Reigns

Week two kept the momentum going with excellent matches from top to bottom. Chris Jericho broke the internet when he officially named his new faction with Sammy Guevara, Jake Hagar, and Santana and Ortiz. The collection of wrestlers is now known as Inner Circle. Dynamite started off white-hot and week only added to that fire.

Matches:

AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament First-Round Match: The Young Bucks: Nick and Matt Jackson vs. Private Party: Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy: Private Party scored the biggest win of their career so far in a massive upset against the number one seed.

AEW World Championship Number One Contender’s Match: Jimmy Havoc vs. Darby Allin: Allin hit a Coffin Drop on Havoc after a hellacious battle to become the number one contender to Chris Jericho’s AEW World Championship.

Emi Sakura and Bea Priestley vs. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D and the AEW Women’s World Champion: The Doctor tapped Sakura out with an Arm Stretch Mandible Claw. After the match, an incensed Bea Priestly went after Baker, but Ref Aubrey Edwards broke it up.

“The Chairman” Shawn Spears vs. Jon Moxley: Moxley hit a Paradigm Shift to put the Chairman down for three. A vengeful Kenny Omega came out with a barbed wire broom and bat, and threw the bat to Mox, expecting a showdown. However, PAC, who was on commentary for the match, attacked the Cleaner from behind with a chair.

“The Natural” Dustin Rhodes and “Hangman” Adam Page vs. Sammy Guevara and the AEW World Champion: Chris Jericho w/ Jake Hagar: The Natural had Jericho set up for Shattered Dreams, but Guevara distracted the ref so Hagar could mow Rhodes down. Jericho seized the opening by rocking Rhodes with a Judas Effect to win the match. All hell broke loose after the match when Inner Circle brawled with Dustin, Cody, MJF, The Young Bucks, and Darby Allin.
