AEW Dynamite Results: Jericho is Pissed

The Main Event saw “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy and Chris Jericho brawl all around the arena ahead of their match at Fyter Fest night two. The go-home episode of Dynamite was a solid one with great promos and matches to boot.

Matches:

Lumberjack Match: Wardlow w/ MJF vs. Luchasaurus w/ Jurassic Express: Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt: The ref was distracted by Jungle Boy Spearing MJF through the ropes off the apron. Wardlow took the opportunity to low blow Luchasaurus and followed up with an F10 to secure the dirty win.

AEW Women’s World Champion: Hikaru Shida vs. Red Velvet: Penelope Ford antagonized the Champ at ringside which only pissed her off. She dropped Velvet with a Running High Knee and a Falcon Arrow in less than ten seconds. Shida wasted no time going after the Superbad Girl and caught Sabian with a stiff right for good measure.

Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana and Mr. Brodie Lee w/ John Silver and Alex Reynolds vs. “The Concrete Rose” Sonny Kiss and “the Bad Boy” Joey Janela: Kiss and Janela have amazing chemistry as a team, until Lee took the Bad Boy’s head off and served him to Cabana for the pin. Lance Archer came out of nowhere after the bell and beat the Jersey boy’s down for fun.

SCU: Frankie Kazarian and “the Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels vs. FTR: Dax Hardwood and Cash Wheeler: Hardwood and Wheeler were able to isolate Daniels and hit the Goodnight Express for a much-needed win. After the match, Hardwood cut a promo. However, he was interrupted by Butcher and Blade who commandeered their truck. BnB challenged them to team up with the Young Bucks to face them and Lucha Bros in an Eight-Man Tag at Fyter Fest. Lucha Bros appeared behind FTR and jumped them. Young Bucks ran in to make the save.

“The Machine” Brian Cage w/ Taz vs. Joe Cruz: Cage threw Cruz a beating he won’t forget any time soon, ending it with the Drillclaw.

Santana w/ Ortiz vs. “Broken” Matt Hardy: Hardy’s experience was the deciding factor when he rolled Santana up for the win. The celebration didn’t last long when Ortiz cracked Hardy from behind with the Madball. Private Party ran in to stop the beating.
