NXT UK Results: More Classics

Three more instant-classics in the short history of NXT UK graced our screens this week. Including the main event of the inaugural episode, which is still one of the best in the brand’s run so far.

Matches:

Mark Andrews vs. Joseph Conners 6/26/19: Andrews scored a big babyface win against Conners at Download Fest last year. The high flyer hit the Fall to Pieces Shooting Star Press for the pinfall victory.

Isla Dawn vs. Xia Brookside 1/9/19: The match ended in a whirlwind of chain wrestling. Dawn and Brookside traded pinning combinations until the White Witch found a Victory Roll that put the second-generation talent away.

United Kingdom Championship Match: Noam Dar vs. The United Kingdom Champion: “The Brusierweight” Pete Dunne: This was the main event of the first episode of NXT UK and it tore the house down. Dar threw everything he had at the Brusierweight, but Dunne’s grit prevailed. Dunne stomped out the Scottish Supernova’s pinky and flattened him with the Bitter End to retain his title.
