NXT Coverage: Priest And Gargano Becomes a Reality

With plenty of drama in every title division, even with the absence of Finn Balor this was a solid episode of NXT.

Matches:

No. 1 Contender Tag Team Title Match: Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch vs. Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish w/Kyle O’Reilly: Lorcan and Birch didn’t lay down, but Fish won with the Running Knee.

Jake Atlas vs. Ashante “Thee” Adonis: Atlas won with an inside cradle before the Cruiserweight Champion, his faction and Swerve Scott all got involved.

Johnny Gargano vs. Austin Theory: Gargano won with The Final Beat, but Theory was in the match throughout. He was one ATL away from the win.

No. 1 Contender Match for the NXT Women’s Title: Candice LeRae vs. Shotzi Blackheart: Thanks to interference from Indi Hartwell, LeRae got the win with Brass Knuckles.

Toni Storm vs. Aliyah w/ Robert Stone: Storm squashed her with Storm Zero.

Killian Dain and Drake Maverick vs. Imperium: Marcel Bartel and Fabian Aichner: Imperium got the win, but after the match, Ever-Rise picked on Maverick and Dain came to his rescue. They are finally a tag team.

NXT North American Champion Damian Priest vs. Dexter Lumis: Cameron Grimes tried to attack Lumis butPriest won with the South of Heaven. After the match, Johnny Gargano attacked Priest. Soon enough NXT General Manager William Regal announced the couple will both have title matches next week.
