AEW Dynamite Coverage: Archer Wins IGWP US Title, Gage vs. Jericho Next Week

Nick Gage is in AEW. Yes. It’s true. The rest of Fyter Fest Night Two was a ton of fun too, including Lance Archer’s win over Jon Moxley and the arrival of HIKULEO, but damn, the first half hour was the best wrestling on TV this week.

Matches:

Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Spears w/Tully Blanchard: Jericho got the win in spite of a lot of interference from both sides, Tully Blanchard and Sammy, before Jericho won with the Judas Effect. After the match however, MJF promised Jericho would face off with Nick Gage next week.

Impact Tag Team Champion Doc Gallows w/Karl Anderson vs. Frankie Kazarian: Gallows got the win with the Sit-Out Chokebomb and after the match, Kazarian got hit with the Magic Killer.

Darby Allin w/Sting vs. Wheeler YUTA w/Orange Cassidy: Excellent back and worth that Allin won with the Coffin Drop, but after the match, The Blade took Cassidy out.

AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker w/Rebel vs. Nyla Rose w/Vikki Guerrero: Man. Baker kicked out of EVERYTHING Rose had to offer and won with Lock Jaw.

Orange Cassidy w/Kris Stratlander vs. The Blade w/The Bunny: Another fun mid-card bout that saw Cassidy win with Orange Punch.

Texas Death Match: Lance Archer w/Jake Roberts vs. IGWP United States Champion Jon Moxley: A war. Archer got the win but he was a mess after. When it was all over, Bullet Club member HIKULEO hit the ring. He wants Archer next.
