AEW Dynamite Coverage: Sammy Wins TNT Title

Great promo from American Top Team, MJF, Darby Allin and the introduction of Lio Rush and some excellent in-ring action and Sammy Guevara’s capturing of the TNT Title, made for a more than solid episode of AEW Dynamite.

Matches:

Adam Cole vs. Jungle Boy: Perry kicked out of The Panama Sunrise and latched on the Snap Trap, but Cole was vigilant and after he hit Perry with a mule kick behind the ref’s back, won with the Running Knee to the back of Perry’s Head. After the match, the Super Kliq hit the ring and talked smack  before Kenny Omega promised he would not give Brian Danielson a rematch for the AEW Title. American Dragon naturally hit the ring  and told Omega he had no balls and challenged any member of The Elite to a match. Danielson then called out reinforcements, as Frankie Kazarian, Christian Cage and The Jurassic Express hit the ring to end the segment.

Daunte Martin and Matt Sydal vs. Cody Rhodes and Lee Johnson w/Brandi Rhodes and Arn Anderson: Lots of fun spots from everyone here. Martin and Sydal were flying all over the place and Johnson was selling while Rhodes hit his offense to change the pace when needed. Johnson managed to hit a few Super Kicks and eventually the Perfect Plex Shoulder Breaker for the win. After the win, Arn Anderson called Cody a loser and said he needed to step it up if he ever wanted to beat Malakai Black.

Jon Moxley, Eddie Kingston and Darby Allin w/Sting vs. Bear Country: Bear Bronson and Bear Boulder and Anthony Greene: Moxley and Kingston won with the German Suplex/Clothesline combo.

Orange Cassidy and The Dark Order: Evil Uno, Colt Cabana, Preston Vance, Alan Angels, John Silver, Alex Reynolds and Stu Grayson vs. The Hardy Family Office: Matt Hardy, Private Party: Marq Quen and Isiah Cassidy, The Butcher and The Blade, Jack Evans, Angelico and Jora Johl: Johl got decimated after Jon Huber’s wife gave the team the boost they needed.

Penelope Ford and The Bunny vs. Anna Jay and Tay Conti: Conti got the win with the Sleeper w/Scissors.

TNT Champion Miro vs. Sammy Guevara: Miro got greedy and took out the top turnbuckle. After he hit his head on it, Guevara hit the GTH and the 630 to win the title.
