WWE RAW Coverage: Big E’s New Day

After a less than stellar Extreme Rules, RAW followed up with an excellent card but an overall lack of sizzle. With the unexplained reunion of of The Hurt Business as well, this time without MVP, RAW Creative continues to dig itself a deeper hole before the eventual WWE Draft.

Matches:

WWE Champion Big E. Vs. Bobby Lashley w/MVP: This one got thrown out when Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander, wearing Hurt Business Shirts, interrupted, to only be joined by The New Day. After the match was over, Adam Pearce announced both Big E. And Lashley would have a rematch later in the night, in a Steel Cage.

The Viking Raiders Erik and Ivar vs. Angel Garza and Alberto Carrillo: Wow. Garza actually beat Erik with The Wing Clipper.

24/7 Champion Reggie vs. Ricochet: These two were evenly matched until the 24/7 contender’s got it thrown out. Reggie was still able to escape however.

Keith Lee vs. Akira Tozawa: Lee got the squash win with the modified Death Valley Driver.

No DQ, No Count-Out: WWE United States Champion Damian Priest vs. Sheamus: This was a war, but Priest won with The Reckoning.

Jinder Mahal, Veer and Shanky vs. Jeff Hardy, Mansoor and Mustafa Ali: Veer got the clean win on Ali with a Wind Up Lariat.

Karrion Kross vs. Jaxson Ryker: Kross got the win with the Doomsday Saito and the Kross Jacket.

WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Riddle vs. AJ Styles w/Omos: Styles got the win itht eh Styles Clash and after it was over, Omos hit the massive Chokeslam.

WWE RAW WOmen’s Champion Charlotte Flair vs. DouDrop: Interference from Eva Marie allowed Flair to win. After the pinball, Flair took out Eva Marie as well.

Steel Cage: Bobby Lashley vs. WWE Champion Big E: New Day and Hurt Business got involved as Lashley and Big E. Traded offense in a pretty even encounter.Both competitors kicked out of each other’s finishers, but Big E got the win with the Big Ending from the Second Rope.
