WWE RAW Coverage: Lashley Gaining Momentum

The build for Day One continued as the RAW Creative Team scrambled to get Bobby Lynch in the middle of the WWE Title picture and make sure viewers still cared about a stale Liv Morgan/Becky Lynch feud.

Matches:

WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Riddle w/Randy Orton vs. Otis w/Chad Gable: Riddle was dominant at times, but Otis won with a Popup Powerslam variation for the solid but still surprising win.

Bianca Belair vs. DouDrop: Belair won clean with the 450 in a solid encounter that may not mark the end of this feud.

Bobby Lashley w/MVP vs. Kevin Owens: Weird. Owens tapped out to the Hurt Lock before it was even fully applied.

Finn Balor and United States Champion Damian Priest vs. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode: Wow, miscommunication between Balor and Priest allowed the Dirty Dawgs to pick up the surprising win.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Zelina Vega w/Carmella vs. Rhea Ripley w/Nikki ASH: Vega was able to get the quick win after miscommunication between Ripley and ASH.

Bobby Lashley w/MVP vs. Seth Rollins: Owens had a plan all along. He hit the ring and beat on Rollins to give Rollins the win via DQ. However, Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville had the match restarted as a no DQ match. Once that started, Lashley won with the Spear.

Bobby Lashley w/MVP vs. WWE Champion Big E.: Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens got involved but it was MVP’s interference that allowed Lashley to get the win and earn a shot at the WWE Title at Day One.
