TNA Impact Wrestling Power Rankings: No One to Cheer For

This week’s episode of TNA’s Impact Wrestling was better than those of the past few week’s, but with no captivating angles and heels dominating the show, there’s no real competition anywhere on the show.

Simply put, TNA needs a strong face and performers the fans can believe in.

Check out our weekly TNA Power Rankings to see who has the potential to wear gold around their waist real soon.

Honorable Mention: Samuel Shaw: His date segment with Christy Hemme was interesting. This “American Psycho” person has a ton of potential. Lets hope TNA doesn’t screw it all up.

5: Ethan Carter III: Dixie’s favorite nephew defeated Earl Hebner, of all people this week on Impact, while Hebner’s son Bryan was forced to officiate the “matchup.” Still undefeated, he’s becoming a novelty at this point. Put him in the ring with someone that matters. Enough is enough. With a great look and great theme music, he’s got potential. He needs to stop being wasted.

4: The Bromans: Zema Ion is hilarious as their DJ and Jessie Godderz and Robbie E. can sell. The team of Gunner and Storm are perfect opponents for them and with their own drama to deal with, this could be a solid angle if done properly.

3: Gail Kim: The TNA Knockouts Champion is in a league of her own, but her dominance is getting boring. She needs some competition.

2: Bad Influence: The drama in the Joseph Park angle is enjoyable at times, even in spite of wacky and sloppy writing. The reason why it works because of the charisma of Bad Influence. Add Eric Young into the mix and you have the potential for something at least watchable on the microphone and in the ring. It just needs to happen already.

1: Jeff Hardy: “The Charismatic Enigma” always seems within a breath of the TNA World Title. His emotional table match victory over Bobby Roode sends him into the finals of the TNA World Heavyweight Championship tournament. Does he have another reign in him? With a lack of energy in the company, Hardy could at least provide some quality in-ring moments, but little in the form of dramatic storyline.
