Review Fix chats with Heather Einhorn from Einhorn’s Epic Cookies, who discusses her yummy creations, which are the official cookies of the 2014 New York Comic Con. From the wide range of flavors and comic book branding attached to the brand, Epic Cookies are not your average snack. Add bacon to the mix and you have a treat fit for a superhero.

Review Fix: How did the plan to make the cookies the official cookie of the 2014 New York Comic Con come to be?

Heather Einhorn: Well we figured if we were going to bring our cookies to NYCC – we’d better make it official.

Review Fix: What will your brand’s Comic Con presence be like?

Einhorn: Aside from being the show’s official cookie, we’ll be at our booth #130 with all our crazy flavors of cookies and space unicorn comics of course. Also, if you show up for the Adult Swim Boat Party early, you might just get your hands on some EPIC cookies!

Review Fix: What makes these cookies so epic?

Einhorn: Usually my first answer is bacon. There is nothing more epic than bacon… What we’ve tried to do with all our cookies (including our Romsey peanut butter, chocolate chip, bacon cookie) is take the cookie craziness and turn it up to 11.  The crazier the flavors, the more epic the cookie.

Review Fix: What cookies/snacks did you love as a kid and how did they play a role in Epic Cookies?

Einhorn: Well that’s a tough one, considering I never met a cookie I didn’t like.  I had two favorite snacks as a kid – any cookie and cereal with ice cold milk. As a kid, I was always SO excited when prizes would magically appear in my cereal. In particular, I remember pulling a ninja turtles bowl out of a cereal box and being just SO pumped that something even-more-awesome came out of my already awesome cereal. One of the things we’re trying to do with Einhorn’s Epic Cookies is bring back that “prize inside” excitement for everyone – kids and adults!

Review Fix: What comic book characters do you think would love your cookies? Why?

Einhorn: Wow, that is an awesome question. I would say all of them. I can’t think of a comic book character that doesn’t like delicious cookies….except Lex Luthor…he seems like he would not be into cookies.

Review Fix: What are your goals for the brand moving forward?

Einhorn: Total world domination….Or if that does’t work out – bringing awesome cookies and crazy unicorns to the world. Our goal as a a brand is to create as much fun as possible for everyone.
