NXT Power Rankings: Balor Ready for War

The arrival of Eva Marie and the return of the Vaudevillians, as well as updates on Sami Zayn set the scene for a decent episode of NXT.

Check out this week’s NXT Power Rankings to see who returned and why Finn Balor is extra excited to take on Kevin Owens.

Honorable Mention: Adam Rose: Even in a losing effort to Tyler Breeze, Rose showed a ton of moxie and that FCW Champion Pedigree that’ll serve him well moving forward. Say what you will about his gimmick, but the guy can work when given an opportunity.

5: Eva Marie: Her quest to prove herself in NXT will be interesting, especially if she cries through every heckled-filled promo.

4: Tyler Breeze: The Beauty Shot continues to get him wins out of nowhere, but it’s not nearly as impactful a maneuver as say, the RKO. In order for Breeze to get to the next step, he’s got to add another big move to his arsenal. With the ability to have great matches with just about anybody, Breeze is just a shot away from landing on the main roster.

3: Aiden English and Simon Gotch: Easily one of the best Tag Teams in NXT history to have never won the titles, English and Gotch made their return this past week and were solid in a win over Marcus Louis and Jason Jordan. Ready to get back in the mix, it makes sense for these guys to finally win the titles.

2: Finn Balor: His win over Rhyno this week once again proves he’s main roster ready, but another shot at the NXT title may give Balor the strap and allow Owens to stay on RAW and Smackdown full time. But don’t think for a second that Balor won’t earn it.

1: Kevin Owens: Ready to defend the NXT Title against Balor on July 4 in Japan, Owens has his hands full on so many levels, but is proving that he is the ass-kicking machine everyone in the WWE hoped he’d be when they signed him.
