TNA Impact Wrestling Power Rankings: ECIII Beats Lashley, Ready for Angle?

Ethan Carter III’s actions this week were a microcosm for the rest of this past week’s show. The young heels on Impact are ready to let the world know they want to move up the card. So move out of the way or get hit with something.

Check out this week’s TNA Impact Wrestling Power Rankings to see who else in TNA is ready to make sure everyone remembers their name this summer.

Honorable Mention: Eddie Edwards: His win over Bobby Roode this past week on Impact was anything but magical, but notice how Edwards didn’t look out of place in a singles match? This could be one of those moments that people in TNA and the rest of the wrestling world look back on as an important moment in Edwards’ career. For the time being, however, Edwards will have to settle for being part of one of the best tag teams in TNA.

5: Jessie Godderz: Alright, his win over Zema Ion was far from “pectacular,” but this guy looks great and has a mean streak. Expect very big things from this kid moving forward.

4: Awesome Kong: Who would have thought that Kong would become a face? Either way, the crowd is responding to her, but it’s hard to tell if it’s because they hate Taryn Terrell or because Kong is getting over.

3: Bram: His win over Joseph Park is more memorable because it makes you wonder if Abyss can ever get over again. At the same time, it’s hard to deny how solid Bram has been in a bruiser role in the mid-card.

2: Ethan Carter III: Sure, he got Tyrus’ help, but who cares? Still undefeated and cocky as ever, ECIII is a prime candidate to steal Kurt Angle’s TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

1: Kurt Angle: With the TNA World Heavyweight Championship firmly in his grasp, Angle is ready to take on anything or anyone in his way. But does ECIII have his number?
