WWE Battleground Power Rankings: Ambrose ‘The Guy’

The slow pace of the show and lack of real sizzle made Battleground quite possibly the worst WWE PPV of 2016. Check out the Review Fix Battleground Power Rankings to see who made the best of the lackluster event.

Honorable Mention: Banks: After a submission win over WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, Banks, who had dealt with months of dealing with injuries and inconsistency, has begun to get the push she deserves. A wonderful performer, oozing with charisma, Banks has the potential to lead the Divas Division into a new era.

Moving Up: Sami Zayn: His win over Kevin Owens gives him a momentum push now that he’s on his own. It’ll be interesting to see where he goes from here.

5: The Wyatt Family: Their win over the longest reigning WW Tag Team Champions The New Day could be the beginning of something special, at least for Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan, who were drafted together to Smackdown Live.

4: Rusev: His win over Zack Ryder ensures that the United States title stays on RAW. In the best shape of his career, Rusev is beginning to make a case to move up the card.

3: John Cena: His win over The Club with Enzo Amore and Colin Cassidy gives Cena the last laugh in their feud, but with Styles on Smackdown, this feud isn’t even close to ending.

2: Seth Rollins: Nothing against Dean Ambrose or Roman Reigns, but Rollins was the star of the Battleground main event. Although he didn’t leave Battleground with the title, he’s still “the guy” on RAW.

1: Dean Ambrose: His successful defense of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Battleground leaves RAW without a title and makes Ambrose even more important to Smackdown.
