Review Fix Exclusive: Steven Krueger Talks ‘Satanic’ And More

Review Fix chats with “Satanic” star Steven Krueger about the homage to seventies occult films.

“Satanic” follows a group of friends, who on their way to Coachella, decide to tour occult sites around Los Angeles and after appearing to save a girl from a satanic ritual, they learn that they actually saved the satanic cult from the girl and she leads them down a dark supernatural path.

Krueger, whose credits include “Goosebumps” and the CW’s “The Originals,” talks about the page-turner that was the “Satanic” script and how that attracted to him to the role of David in the film.

Yes, every year there is a “The Witch,” a film that reminds us of the power of the indie horror genre, but for the most part, the genre can get stale – this is what made “Satanic” stand out to Krueger. The script and director Jeffery Hunt, who worked with Krueger on a couple episodes of “The Originals,” gave “Satanic” the validity Krueger seeks in projects.

The ambitious actor also discusses his future plans, on-set pranks and much more in this exclusive interview.
