WWE RAW Coverage: Jericho Wins US Title, Taker in Rumble

With Royal Rumble just a few weeks away, appearances from Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker, as well as a beefy card and Chris Jericho’s capturing of the United States Championship and this was a damn good episode of Monday Night RAW.

Matches:

United States Champion Roman Reigns vs. WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho: Braun Storuman and Seth Rollins got involved before this match and as soon as this match started, they got involved in this one, throwing it out. Stephanie McMahon then came out and rescheduled the match for later and forced Strowman and Rollins to fight it out.

Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman: This ended in a double count-out and is far from over.

Jack Gallagher vs. Drew Gulak: Gallagher got the win with the corner Dropkick in a pretty pedestrian cruiserweight match.

Colin Cassady w/Enzo Amore vs. Jinder Mahal w/Rusev and Lana: After HBK took out Rusev with a Super Kick on the outside, Cassady won with an awful looking East River Crossing and an Empire Elbow.

Neville vs. Lince Dorado: Neville got the win with the Rings of Saturn in another match that shows he’s not the flashy competitor of old. After the match, Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann made the save and the two traded offense.

Luke Gallows vs. WWE Tag Team Champion Sheamus: A distraction from Anderson on Cesaro at the announce table wasn’t enough as Sheamus beat Gallows with a Brogue Kick.

Bailey and Sasha Banks vs. WWE RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax: A quick time-filler than saw Jax beat Bayley with the Atomic Leg Drop.

Titus O’Neil vs. Kofi Kingston w/Xavier Woods and Big E. Langston: Another filler match that saw Kingston get the win.

United States Champion Roman Reigns vs. WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho: A Powerbomb on the apron and a Codebreaker from Jericho proved to be too much for Reigns, who was pinned by Jericho to claim the United States Championship.
