Top Cow Productions will re-energize the The Darkness fandom with this week’s launch of The Complete The Darkness Volume 3 Kickstarter. This campaign begins the drumbeat of excitement for the return of the iconic, supernatural anti-heroes Sara Pezzini and Jackie Estacado in upcoming new Witchblade and The Darkness series reboots, slated for this year and next, respectively.
The Complete The Darkness Volume 3 Kickstarter will introduce readers to Jackie Estacado and his world of mayhem. There will be new freebie and add-on collectibles exclusive to backers and on Thursday, February 29 at 9 a.m. PST (12 p.m. EST) backers will get a chance to own The Darkness: Sourcebook featuring a brand new cover by Image Comics partner, Top Cow founder, and The Darkness co-creator Marc Silvestri.
“The Darkness is my all-time favorite comic anti-hero,” said Silvestri. “He is given the ability to wield an elemental power that surrounds us and control a demonic army while fighting his darkest impulses at the same time. In The Complete The Darkness Volume 3, Jackie is faced with a whole new set of enemies—including both The Angelus and The Magdalena. This volume collects The Darkness #41-64, The Darkness: Infinity, The Darkness: Black Sails, and The Darkness: Wanted Dead by fan-favorite creators like writers: Paul Jenkins, Ron Marz, David Lapham, Brian Buccellato, and David Wohl and artists: Dale Keown, Eric Basaldua, Romano Molenaar, Francis Manapul, Keu Cha, Mark Texiera, Roger Cruz, and more.
Backers of this Volume 3 hardcover will also receive an exclusive Kickstarter dust jacket, and every copy will include a limited edition bookplate signed by Silvestri.
