“With Hole’s snarling new single, ‘Skinny Little Bitch,’ Courtney Love has scored her first hit single since the ’90s… [it] made the playlists of more than 50 radio stations in early-March, making it the most-added modern-rock radio track for the week of its debut.” (from Rolling Stone, “Let Love Rule: Hole’s Chaotic Comeback,” April 1)

(March 26, 2010 – New York, NY) No other rocker’s return to the front-line has been more feverishly anticipated in 2010 than Courtney Love’s, as the legendary singer, songwriter, producer, and actress prepares for the arrival of NOBODY’S DAUGHTER, the brand new album by Hole, set for April 27th release on Mercury Records. “Skinny Little Bitch,” the new album’s first single pick has jumped all over rock radio formats since its impact two weeks ago, and is now available for sale at all digital platforms.

Beginning Friday, March 26th fans can preorder several special deluxe packages of Nobody’s Daughter, including a package with autographed vinyl, at the bands official site, www.HoleRock.net. iTunes album preorder begins 4/6 including exclusive bonus tracks.

“Ms. Love played Spin magazine’s afternoon party with smiling, taunting arrogance,” wrote Jon Pareles afterward in the New York Times. Pareles echoed Rolling Stone’s characterization of “Skinny Little Bitch” as “snarling,” and described the song as “unrepentant 1990’s grunge, using the quiet-to-LOUD dynamic that Nirvana learned from the Pixies.”

The next appearances by Hole include two shows at the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles (April 22nd and 23rd) and Terminal 5 in New York City (April 27th and 28th), which were all sold out in hours after being on sale. Those will be followed by guest spots on CBS’s The Late Show with David Letterman (April 27th) and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live (April 29th).

NOBODY’S DAUGHTER is the first album by Hole in more than a decade (since 1998’s three-time Grammy-nominated Celebrity Skin). It also marks Courtney’s first record since her solo album America’s Sweetheart of 2004 on Virgin (with “Mono” and “Hold On To Me,” both songs co-written with Linda Perry, who co-wrote the bulk of that album’s songs with Courtney).
