The boys of summer are back, The A-List: New York has returned for a second season. They are ready, once again, to show America how they live in the city.
The season starts out in the apartment of the newlyweds, Austin and Jake. The two are still trying to sort of their legal issues a year later. A visit from Derek informs the couple that he has quit his job to go into business for himself. And Austin was offered the cover of Playgirl magazine.
TJ comes across the infamous naked picture of Reichen that was posted all over the internet. Reichen later confesses that the picture was of him on a webcam with another guy. To Ryan’s disgust, TJ was asked to cease the viewing party of adult material at his place of business.
In other developments, Mike is still trying to push the envelope with the public’s accessibility to fine art, so he launched a t-shirt line that features his photos of celebrity friends and photos of himself. Not to mention a new coffee table book project. He also introduces us to Martin, his business and life partner.
If that’s not enough for you, Rodiney and Reichen have called it quits. It looks like it was the aftershock of the Reichen penis picture hitting the World Wide Web. As a result, Rodiney has moved out of Reichen’s place and into his own apartment. They have broken up several times before so, hopefully, this time is different and they can both move on with their lives.
There’s also a new girl on the scene. Nyasha Zimucha, winner of Miss. Africa USA, is an entrepreneur, singer-songwriter and a self- proclaimed diva. She was introduced into the circle by Mike as yet another business venture.
After all of the boring small talk is over, the gloves come off and the claws come out. The gang hits the bar for an after party to conclude Mike’s clothing line launch. It’s the same old story, the drinks start flowing and the lips start to get a little looser. Rodiney is still not over how the guys treated him last summer and Austin and Derek are not ready to call it quits yet either. Nyasha gets in the middle of the chaos and is unintentionally touched by Austin. Now, the two hate each other.
Through all of this, it’s obvious the boys have planned a summer that is filled to the brim with twists, turns and surprises that make last year’s season look like child’s play.
