This week’s episode was so boring and uneventful. A lot has happened, but it’s only a catylist for the drama that hopefully occurs next week’s episode.
While out on the town, Derek decides to confront Ryan on his lack of defense of Austin when Rodiney wanted to get the restraining order. Ryan is still committed to helping Austin, but he is not going to support his shenanigans. Knowing that there is a problem present and staying clear of it is better than reasoning it away.
Derek’s new beau, Duncan, is visiting and he decides to look his best by getting botox injections. The two have been dating for a few months and maybe one is moving a little bit faster than the other is in this relationship. It looked like Derek finally found the right guy but, like the wind; Derek’s guy was gone from his life. Or, at least, that is what he wanted to happen.
Austin decides that he wants to throw a cocktail party in an effort to prove Rodiney wrong about his views of him. For someone who claims that he doesn’t care about what Rodiney thinks of him, Austin does care about what Rodiney thinks.
Reichen confided in Mike that he has accepted a job offer to host an event in Hawaii. He has opted to take TJ with him. Hopefully, there will be no hanky panky on this trip between these two.
Austin and Derek’s friendship is now in limbo. Austin has decided to befriend Duncan against Derek’s wishes. Rule number one, when it comes to relationships, if a friend ends a bad relationship with a guy then the friend, and all of his friends, breaks up with that ex. There should be better circulation of the friendship handbook throughout the city.
Nyasha is still in the recording studio and her voice doesn’t sound half bad.
Stick around and keep watching. The shows should get better as the series progresses. Enough happened this week to set the stage for something interesting in the future.
