True Blood Coverage: Where’s the Action?

“True Blood” has been filled with ups and downs this season and more useless story lines than anyone could have thought of.

This episode wasn’t any different, as we saw Marnie keep Sookie and the rest of the witchcraft gang captured, Andy Bellefleur encountering a fairy and Sam seeking revenge with the help of Alcide.

Overall, it was the same old story. As of right now, it looks like the season finale with lack the necessary excitement.

The episode picks up where the last one left off and throughout, the extraordinary vampire justice league, in which they should be called due to their ridiculous outfits, and brutal acting, Eric, Bill, Pam and Jessica with Jason trying to lend a hand, try to break the spell that Marnie has put around the premises, and save Sookie. Other than a useless explosion and Jason turning into a burned hotdog it is very obvious what happens throughout. Sookie breaks the spell that causes Eric and Bill to take out Marnie. Quite a shock there.

Overall, this episode was a total bore. There’s more action and entertainment in Chuck Norris’s exercise infomercials, so you could imagine how much you would be on the edge of your seat after your eyes viewed this debacle of an episode.

What made this episode even more lame was the climax. It was obvious that no one was out of the woods yet after what had occurred prior to Bill killing Marnie, but then you realize how idiotic the setup for the season finale really was.

Unless something shocking occurs, there still won’t be enough luster that could make this season a success.

I grew up in Bensonhurst Brooklyn, the same neighborhood many of the best mafia films of our day were based on, idolizing guys like Robert Deniro, Martin Scorsese and Al Pacino. I'm also a big sports fan and follow the New York Yankees immensely.
