Beavis and Butthead Coverage: Sleep-Inducing in a Good Way

It’s yet another week of Beavis and Butthead and this time out, we delve into the lives of America’s favorite two dimwits.

In the first episode, “Whorehouse,” Beavis and Butthead walk by an abortion clinic, where people are protesting. One of them is yelling “Whores! Fornicators!” into a megaphone and tells B&B that the women in there have had “sex outside of marriage.” Of course, B&B put two and two together and think it’s a whorehouse. After getting rid of the guard, they go in, see the doctor and think it’s a “manwhore”-and decide to get a job there. A decent episode with an OK payoff. It is funny seeing Beavis and Butthead getting tasered at the end. Add that to a long list of things that made B&B go “AAAAH!” And, hey, it’s the return of that doctor who’s in every episode and has every occupation. Brings back memories of Rod Munch.

In “Going Down,” B & B go to a high class hotel for one reason: to hear an elevator voice say “going down.” After picking up a women who asks “number two, please” Beavis presses all the buttons and breaks the elevator, trapping them. The girl manages to get out by telling them she’ll have sex with them if they both get on all fours and stand on top of each other. She escapes through the top panel. It’s amazing how easily manipulated these guys are by women. Not to mention the whole scene is funny as hell. The two standing on top of each other on all fours forever is even funnier. The elevator fixes itself and the Beavis breaks it again. A good episode just to see Beavis and Butthead almost resort to cannibalism and to see what they’d do in a broken elevator.

The weekly Jersey Shore skit is funny as usual. Beavis and Butthead complain that a lack of fights and sex makes the episode not worth watching. It even made these two morons fall asleep. Would you believe that? All the “Shore” heads did was put tubes together. Nice job breaking them, guidos.

Also in this episode, during the Earl Greyhound ‘Shotgun” video, we learn that soup goes right through Beavis. “It gives me something to do.” Does that include his “other” bathroom activity?

All in all it was a good week that ends out the year for Beavis and Butthead. Hopefully, next year Judge continues to amaze us with the misadventures of these two idiots and maybe we’ll see the return of the Butt Bowl during the Super Bowl.
