Real Housewives Reunions – Top Five Moments

“Reunions are my chance to get to the bottom of the things you’ve been wondering about all season,” reveals Bravo’s Andy Cohen, and last night, Bravo got to the bottom of the most memorable events in Housewives reunion history.  Do you remember these top five?

#5 – DC Season 1: Andy interrogates Salahis on “alleged” White House party crashing.

The Salahis try to get out of this one by dropping obscure acronyms and doing a lot of backpedaling. Finally, Cat cuts to the chase and yells out, “You didn’t sit down at the table, because you were NFI, Not f-ckin’ invited!”

As Michaele, ever the creative one, tries to further spin the story (apparently, according to her, she didn’t sit down at the table because the White House chefs were serving lentil soup), Cat walks out in disgust.

#4 – New Jersey Season 1: Caroline confronts Danielle.

Caroline looked at Danielle with her trademark steely expression and vehemently told her, “What you did is so disgraceful.  And you know what you did.”

We now know that Danielle allegedly tried to interfere with Dina’s custody arrangement, but at the time, just what Danielle had done that was so deplorable was anyone’s guess. Way to leave us in suspense, Bravo!

#3 – New York Season 3: Jill and Bethenny address falling out.

Bethenny accuses Jill of being jealous of her success: “You used to be a nice girl from Long Island that was motherly and nurturing… Then, the cameras went up and it was… ‘Let me slay this girl!’”

Bethenny and other cast members claim Jill tried to shut Bethenny out of filming, which Jill adamantly denies. Finally, just as Jill is about to walk out of the taping, the two come together in a forced reconciliation hug.

“I don’t miss this season, but I miss you,” Jill says, crying.

#2 – Atlanta Season 1: Nene calls Kim out.

“Close ya legs to married men!” has to be the tagline of this reunion, and possibly to theHousewives franchise in general.  As the reunion talk turns to Kim’s mysterious relationship with still legally married Big Poppa, Nene goes in for the kill. Other cast members have to literally hold her back before she attacks. But they can’t stop her from verbal assault. “Trashy hooker,” Nene yells, for extra effect.

#1 – New Jersey Season 2: Teresa shoves off Andy Cohen to attack Danielle

How can anyone forget this one? As Housewives reunions blur the line with Jerry Springerepisodes, things nearly got physical in this unforgettable reunion show. Danielle famously accuses Teresa of not acknowledging her nephew (a tidbit of information that we now know she got from Melissa Gorga) and Teresa flies off her rocker—and literally flies off the couch, lunging at Danielle, growling, grunting, and making all kinds of sounds in between. Andy tries to hold her back, but Teresa flings him off with what looks like the force of ten Juicy Joes.

It takes all of Andy’s diplomatic efforts to convince a reluctant Danielle to come back to the reunion.

“If she moves her ass off that couch, I’m leaving,” she warns.

Andy’s comment on the whole situation: “For the record, Teresa is really, really strong…”
