Hell’s Kitchen Coverage: A Winner

This is it, folks. The last dinner service of Season Ten’s Hell’s Kitchen and where we see who the winner is.

The episode started with Clemenza threatening to leave Justin’s team. He decided to stay despite being angry that he was not the one in the finals. He was MIA the next day when they were going over the menu one last time and he did burn the crostini during prep.

With both kitchens’ menus approved by Ramsey and a minor mishap the last dinner service was just like how you’d expect it to go down: full of drama.

Justin’s kitchen was not all that bad.. On appetizers Royce brought out cold crab cakes and then brought them up dry. Things got fired up at entrees with Clemenza bringing up raw salmon. Later, Royce was blamed for a salmon that a diner said was cold even though Justin should’ve caught that.

Justin’s entire kitchen shut down when everyone just stopped bringing up quality food. From Brian not adding enough salt, Royce bringing up another raw item and Barbie bringing up an overcooked rib eye which she later would over cook again.

Speaking of Barbie, after overcooking another rib eye she informed Justin that they’re out of rib eye. This was on the last table, by the way. At least they did better than expected.

Christina’s kitchen was a battle between her and her best buddy Dana. Dana was all over the place on this service. She started with burning scallops on one side. Dana being slow on the scallops was one reason people in the red dinning room waited so long. It was Dana again who made a halibut with a bad sear twice. This caused an argument between Christina and Dana so bad that Sous Chef Andi had to step in and tell Dana not to argue with Christina. Ramsey had to step in and ask Christina what should she do with Dana.

On Christina’s last table everyone brought up their dishes but Dana, again made a fatal mistake by making raw pork. Ramsey asked Christina if she wanted to send these dishes or restart. She decided to restart. Now we see why Dana was not is the final two. This was a terrible performance.

At the end of the service, as usual, Ramsey had to make a decision on who would be the winner based on customer comment cards and his own observations. After some time he called both Justin and Christina to his office to do the usual stand in frond of two doors and wait until he counts to three to turn the handles. Whoever’s door is unlocked wins Hell’s Kitchen. The usual tension abounded in the dining room and in living rooms across America until everyone saw Christina’s door open, declaring her the winner.

First off, congratulations Christina for winning Hell’s Kitchen. Second off, this had to have been the worst season of Hell’s Kitchen yet. The chefs this year were unlikeable, they did not know how to cook properly and there were way too many two-part episodes that were mostly filler. Not to mention the arguments were way too petty when compared to previous seasons. Christina was the best choice to win seeing as how she was the best out of everyone. Some contestants like Barbie and Clemenza could’ve won if only they did not make tiny mistakes so often.
