It was a wild episode of Impact this week that proved to be another show dominated by the Aces and Eights. While there were a few singles stars that made their presence felt, the biker gang continues to do whatever they like, with whomever they want.
Here are Review Fix’s picks for the hottest commodities in the company this week.
5: James Storm: His win over Rob Van Dam wasn’t huge, but the DDT he delivered in the match was one of the stiffest in recent memory. Still on top in the Bound for Glory standings, Storm’s championship hopes are still bright.
4: Jeff Hardy: Wins over Kurt Angle don’t happen every day, but Hardy made it happen this week with two Swanton Bombs. Much like Storm, Hardy continues to stay in the world title picture.
3: ODB and Eric Young: TNA’s royal couple made their return this week and as usual, they were entertaining. ODB’s win over Madison Rayne shows she’s more than a big bra and Young’s return may mean a bigger role for the funny, yet incredibly talented mid-carder.
2: Samoa Joe: TNA’s submission superstar got a huge win over AJ Styles that continues his winning ways. Although another title run right now may seem impossible, it’s hard to ignore how talented he is and how much the fans respect his work.
1: Aces and Eights: The biker gang doesn’t let up. Austin Aries again found out the hard way just how tough they could be. Knocked out cold with a slapjack, the TNA World Heavyweight Champion may be in over his head.
