Another wild week of WWE Raw was capped off by some fantastic promo from WWE Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and John Cena. The matches as well were something to talk about, as they were more than the garden variety. With new number one contenders for the tag team titles too, it’ll be interesting to see where your favorite superstars stack up in Review Fix’s weekly RAW power rankings.
5: Randy Orton: His match with CM Punk on RAW was solid and his upcoming match with Dolph Ziggler at Night of Champions will be a good one too. he’s proven he’s back in a rhythm and needs a real angle.
4:Â Jerry Lawler: At 62, Lawler went out and had a match with stars he was old enough to father. Then he went back to his home at the announce table. His subsequent heart-attack afterward is a tragic situation for both him and the company, but ironically proves his love for the business. It also raises questions as to whether or not Lawler should still be in the ring at his age.
3: Cody Rhodes: Solid match this week. His attack on The Miz could be a signal to bigger and better things. Gaining steam as a credible worker, Rhodes to ready for a real push. He’s not Dusty’s baby boy anymore.
2: Daniel Bryan and Kane: Easily the most entertaining tag team in the company right now, in and out of the ring. They’re not flashy, but their ability as sound workers and ability on promo the past few weeks have put them over the top. They deserve this title shot.
1: CM Punk: Aside from the shoddy writing that usually has him whimpering away Ike a fawned dog, CM Punk continues to make himself the most credible worker and heel in the company. his association with Paul Heyman can only intensify this.
