The lack of storyline development aside, this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW had a huge card with plenty of solid wrestling action. From six-man tags to singles matches, this week’s dose of RAW action had a bit of something for everyone.
Check out our weekly RAW Power Rankings to see who enjoyed the most success in the squared-circle.
5: The Miz: Wow. Did anyone imagine The Miz beating United States Champion like that? Earning the submission win over Antonio Cesaro this week, The Miz has the most momentum he’s had in quite some time. Regardless, only a mark could take the win ultra seriously. All the The Miz did was win a meaningless non-title match and not the title. It’s still a start though.
4: Alberto Del Rio: A huge win against one of the company’s best workers in Dolph Ziggler. After the match was where Del Rio shined the most however. After Ricardo Rodriguez helped him out by stealing the Money in the Bank briefcase, Del Rio let Ziggler know that he wasn’t going to be a victim. Although his face run has been a bit rushed, this week’s RAW moment with Del Rio was one of the best on the show.
3: Jack Swagger: A huge submission victory for Swagger over former World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan this week. With more ring time and promo work, Swagger and Dirty Dutch Mantell continue to climb up the mid-card ladder. Could another World Title run be in the cards for the youngster?
2: Mark Henry: After another lopsided win over Sin Cara and a great showing at Elimination Chamber, Henry is one of the most dominant stars in the company. Regardless of the lack of creative vision for him right now (a feud with Great Khali? Is WWE Creative on drugs?) Henry is one bad man.
1: The Shield: These guys work wonderfully together. The best part is, you haven’t seen anything yet. Aside from the quick tags and enormous amount of stamina the three of them have, none of the three have used the type of offense that got them to the WWE.
