This week’s episode of RAW was horribly paced, but there were several bright spots.
Check out our weekly RAW Power Rankings to see who didn’t put fans to sleep early.
5: The Wyatt Family: After another great vignette on RAW this week, it’s time for the family to make their WWE debut. With The Shield’s momentum dying down, the Family can easily fill a void on the card.
4: The Shield: Sure, these guys have lost some steam since they stopped their feud with Daniel Bryan and Kane, but they still represent a large chunk of the title landscape in the company. Still brimming with potential, they shouldn’t be taken lightly. Their chemistry, teamwork and cunning always make their contests a treat. However, if they don’t reclaim their buzz and soon, their days of reign of terror in the WWE will soon be over.
3: Dolph Ziggler: Sure, this was just a win over Jinder Mahal, but Ziggler needed this. Not only did he beat Mahal, he embarrassed 3MB. The number one contender for the World Title, Ziggler is ready for a real run with the strap. It doesn’t matter if he’s a face or a heel either. Ziggler, although good on the microphone, makes his living in the ring.
2: Daniel Bryan: “I want to be the WWE Champion,” Bryan said at the start of he show this week. At this point, it’s safe to say that the fans would love to see Bryan with the WWE title, but he’s going to have to go through John Cena most likely to do it. Although he’s one of the best workers in the company, the chances of Bryan overtaking the face of the company seems impossible. Regardless, not many people can get the fans this worked up and Bryan continued his positive momentum in a special referee role.
1: CM Punk: A week after the Prime Time Players tried to make an example of Punk, “The Best in the World” beat them both with little help from his partner, Curtis Axel. The feud between Punk and Paul Heyman/Brock Lesnar is the most interesting on the show, even if it hasn’t been focused on nearly as much as it should be.
