One of the best cards on RAW this year made for a highly engaging episode of the WWE’s flagship show this week.
Check out our weekly RAW Power Rankings to see who dominated their respective competition.
Honorable Mention: Ryback: He’s green, but he continues to destroy whoever gets in his way. Well, except John Cena or anyone else who is a legitimate WWE superstar. Much like Bryan Clark, AKA Wrath from mid-90s WCW, Ryback is a nice distraction from the entertaining portions of the show, but it remains to be seen if he’ll ever be a WWE Champion, or a World Champio, or hold any title. Regardless, his beat-down of a WWE stagehand on RAW this week was pretty cool.
5: The Shield: Sure, the threesome is not the same team when they’re not in the ring with Daniel Bryan, but then again, what team is? With in-ring maturity beyond their years, they continue to plow their way through the WWE mid-card. Their encounter with The Usos and Mark Henry will be an awesome opening match at Summerslam.
4: Dolph Ziggler: His feud with AJ Lee and Big E. Langston may be a side-step for a guy who deserves to be in the WWE title picture, but his current run as a face has gotten him more support from the fans than he’s ever had in his career. After Summerslam, it’s fair to say Ziggler deserves another real push at the World Title. After that he’ll be out of distractions.
3: The Wyatt Family: Bray Wyatt is awesome. His Knox-Out Finisher and way with words make him a legitimate up and coming star, but the pure destruction of the Buzzards make The Wyatt Family the most devastating force in the company today.
2: Christian: A few weeks ago, it looked like Captain Charisma was going to be a veteran body on the roster, but the former World Champion has proved he’s still wonderful performer. An excellent come from behind win over World Champion Alberto Del Rio proves it. Christian is back.
1: Daniel Bryan: Another good week for Bryan who continued to dominate in the ring with a solid win over Kane and budding tensions with WWE Heavyweight Champion John Cena. Even with a possible “Corporate makeover” looming, Summerslam is going to be epic, thanks in large part to what Bryan brings to the microphone and the squared circle.
