At the 2013 Harvey Awards held on September 7th, in Baltimore, MD, IDW Publishing and its esteemed creators were awarded TWO of the industry’s top honors! Voted on by comic professionals throughout the industry, The Harvey Awards celebrate the best of the year and recognize the exemplary work accomplished by writers, artists and editors. IDW’s seven nominations displayed the company’s stature as the fourth largest publisher.
Best Graphic Album was awarded to Richard Stark’s Parker: The Score by Darwyn Cooke. This marks the fourth Harvey Award for Cooke’s Parker adaptations.
The acclaimed Artist’s Edition format was recognized for Best Domestic Reprint Project with the award going to David Mazzucchelli’s Daredevil: Born Again Artist’s Edition, edited by IDW’s Scott Dunbier!
It’s been a record-breaking year for IDW and it shows no signs of slowing down! Thanks to all who voted for this year’s Harvey’s and congratulations to all the winners and nominees!
