TNA Impact Wrestling Power Rankings: How Long Can This Company Live?

With a minuscule card, boring promo and nothing to look forward to on the horizon, this week’s Impact Wrestling is another prime example of how lackluster the company has become.

Check out this week’s TNA Impact Wrestling Power Rankings to see who tried their hardest to make the show worth watching.

5: Mr. Anderson: His return signals the end of Bully Ray’s World Title aspiration and ensures that the middle of the TNA card will have a bit more depth. Well, at least on paper. At the end of the day, with a mediocre creative team at best, there’s little Anderson can add to the show. Regardless, it was nice to see “The Asshole” back.

4: Ethan Carter III: EC3 destroyed a jobber with a version of Dean Ambrose’s Front-Face Bulldog. With a great look, a cool finisher and instant heat from being a part of the Carter family, can EC3 be a decent mid-card heel? With Abyss rotting away with the TV title, that would be a gold strap that would look good around the waist and serve two purposes, elevate EC3 and make good use of a title that has laid dormant.

3: Bobby Roode/Kurt Angle: It’s the only angle with any amount of passion this week. Angle is motivated and emotional, while Roode was surprisingly charismatic as well. It’s too bad that segment wasn’t focused on and was more continuing to lay the foundation on their angle than intriguing television.

2: Bromans: Robbie E. is one of the best workers in the company, but has been buried more times than The Brooklyn Brawler. Godderz is a young stud with plenty of potential. Together, they are one of the only interesting things going on in TNA right now. It’s too bad the company doesn’t have a clue what to do with them. While working with James Storm and Gunner will help them build a nice clip reel in the ring, there’s little these guys can do creatively together. The thought of the Bromans working with Bad Influence however however could be a ton of fun.

1: AJ Styles: He won the gold at Bound for Glory and had a decent match with Ray this week. With the drama between him and Dixie Carter continuing, Styles should continue to be the face of the company for the foreseeable future.
