Every week on Impact Wrestling is a sad reminder that this company lacks creative vision and needs to either be closed down or shaken up considerably.
The constant boos don’t lie. This show is on its deathbed.
Check out our weekly TNA Power Rankings to see who is making the most of some of the darkest times in the history of TNA.
5: Mr. Anderson: His win over Knux wasn’t that big a deal, but it does give him some momentum going into this week’s TV PPV. After his Piledriver on Garret Bischoff in the show’s final segment, Anderson is at the top of his game, well at least as high as TNA will allow him to be. With his TNA career on the line, it’ll be interesting to see what creative decides to do with the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion.
4: Gail Kim: There is no one in TNA that can hold a candle to her. The most dominant Knockouts Champion the company has ever had, Kim is one of the only real reasons to watch the show. This open challenge she’s involved in could work, but you wouldn’t know that from her first opponent, indie performer Hannah Blossom. Give Kim some real competition before it’s too late.
3: Ethan Carter III: If the guy’s performances feel like Deja-Vu, it’s because they’re all the same. He’s got the look and a good finisher, but Creative continues to drop the ball with him. Stop with the jobber nonsense and give this guy some real competition.
2: Kurt Angle: His feud with Bobby Roode continues to heat up. Probably the only entertaining in-ring angle in the company right now, Angle got the upper-hand when he used Roode’s submission finer to earn a victory over Austin Aries on Impact.
1: AJ Styles: This past week Styles talked some more about defending his title around the world, but there was no new footage of Styles doing just that. Like many of the other angles in the company, this one needs a reboot more than ever.
