TNA Impact Wrestling Power Rankings: Spooked Out

TNA is a disaster with few bright spots that viewers look forward to every week. For every Bad Influence, Eric Young and Bromans, there are far too many tired acts that need to be reshaped. Even with the drama involving AJ Styles and the TNA World Heavyweight title, TNA is so far down the Mendoza line that it may be impossible to save at this point.

Check out our TNA Power Rankings to see who made the most of a less than mediocre show.

5: Jessie Godderz and Robbie E.: The sneaky and sometimes silly heels managed to keep the Tag Team titles against James Storm and Gunner this past week by simply taking advantage of an opportunity. Robbie E. is one of the best workers in the company and Godderz has plenty of potential. This team has nowhere to go but up, but needs to be able to get their share of offense in. They sell way too much and for guys in such great shape, they haven’t been able to show much.

4: Bobby Roode: He continues to have his way with Kurt Angle and if that doesn’t help put him over as a heel, nothing else will. Like many former TNA World Heavyweight Champions, his reign did little to cement his spot in the company. If anything Roode still has a lot to prove.

3: Ethan Carter III: The guy has a great look and is in solid shape, but hasn’t been tested obviously. Like the days of the territories or cough, cough, Ryback, Carter will be fed a steady diet of jobbers to establish him as a heel/bruiser. His win this past week on Halloween’s Impact did nothing to legitimize him. The fact that he’s even on this list proves how shallow and bland TNA’s roster is right now.

2: Magnus: Continuing his trend of being unpredictable, Magnus eliminated both Kazarian and Sting to earn the final spot in the Eight-Man World Title tournament. If you thought he was destined to become the next TNA Champion, don’t put those thoughts to bed just yet. A favorite of Dixie Carter off the camera, it may become an on-screen reality as well.

1: AJ Styles: He wasn’t on the show, but is clearly the only reason to watch the show. Why TNA plays games with his character instead of giving fans what they want is a disgrace. Just let the guy fly.
