RAW Power Rankings: Kickin’ It Old School

There wasn’t too much drama this week on RAW, as the Old School concept took precedent over the current story lines. Regardless, there were a key developments that will definitely play a role in the future of the show and in the upcoming Royal Rumble pay per view.

Check out our RAW Power Rankings to see who was able to make themselves stand out amid the plethora of former WWE stars on Old School RAW.

5: Big E. Langston: His quick win over Curtis Axel wasn’t beautiful, but it was rough and tough- the new calling card for every Langston match. With the possibility of an angle with Ryback in the wings as well, Langston continues to gather momentum and make his case that he’s quickly becoming one of the company’s most promising young stars.

4: Batista: He doesn’t even have to be on RAW to make our list. The announcement this week that he’ll be an entry in the Royal Rumble is huge. The thought of him getting back in the WWE World Heavyweight Title mix spices things up creatively.

3: The Legends: From Ted DiBiase, Diamond Dallas Page, Ric Flair and Roddy Piper to Bob Backlund, IRS, The New Age Outlaws and Nikolai Volkoff, this week’s RAW was simply fun. While it deviated from many of the main story lines, the fun and silliness was a welcomed escape.

2: Brock Lesnar: Paul Heyman talks smack for a few minutes and Lesnar “breaks” Mark Henry’s arm before The Big Show gets involved. Lesnar needs to kill some time before the Royal Rumble and this doesn’t seem like that bad an idea. Lesnar and Show have a storied history and he thought of them in the ring again could bring back some memories.

1: The Shield: Their little segment with Roddy Piper was interesting, but Roman Reign’s match with CM Punk was a better main event then you might have originally thought. Reigns, at one time, was considered the weak link of the group, has to be looked at as the member with the most potential.
