Alicia Silverstone’s role in the upcoming “Angels in Stardust,†as the sexy, but deadbeat mom, is a different one for her, but it’s one that got her attention the first time she read the script.
“Tammy is a very special mother,†Silverstone said. “She’s trying to find Mr. Right and she’s having a very hard time balancing motherhood and her search for love. She messes up often when trying to find that balance.â€
The beauty who originally garnered mainstream pop culture acclaim as a sultry and witty teen in “Clueless†and later as Batgirl in “Batman Forever,†Silverstone relished the opportunity to do something different.
“I love the accent,†Silverstone said. “That was really fun. Just getting inside Tammy’s head, how she’s trying to do the right thing, but always does things wrong- was different. It was nice to be able to put her heart into it. It was apparent that she loved her children. Even though she makes a terrible display of it and she has a lot of issues she’s taking care of, I really enjoyed getting inside of her head.â€

Hickey Jr. is also a voice actor, having starred in the 2018 indie hit and 2019 Switch, PS4 and Xbox One release, The Padre (also serving as English language Story Editor), from Shotgun With Glitters. The sequel, The Padre: One Shell Straight to Hell was released in February 2021- Hickey also served as a Story Editor and Lead Voiceover performer. He has also done narration and trailers for several other titles including The Kaiju Offensive, Relentless Rex and Roniu’s Tale.
Hickey is also the lead voiceover performer on Mega Cat Studios’ upcoming title WrestleQuest, responsible for nearly 90 characters in the game, as well as Skybound's Renfield: Bring Your Own Blood, where he voices both Dracula and Renfield, as well as several other characters. He also stars in Ziggurat Interactive’s World Championship Boxing Manager 2, where he performs the VO of nearly every male character in the game. He also worked on the Atari VCS’s BPM Boy.
