NXT Power Rankings: Sing-A-Long With English and Friends

With plenty of matches, featuring some new faces and just enough build up to NXT week’s show, this week’s NXT left viewers with plenty of things to think about. What will become of Sami Zayn after being attacked by Corey Graves? Can NXT Champion Adrian Neville keep his belt against Bo Dallas next week? Is Charlotte ready to face off with NXT Women’s Champion Paige?

Check Out This Week’s NXT Power Rankings to see what NXT superstars managed to turn some heads before their upcoming “Vengeance” show.

Honorable Mention: Sasha Banks: The “Boss” of NXT has plenty of pizazz and makes a great heel team with Charlotte Flair. With so many divas in the WWE not pulling their weight in the ring, Banks would be a perfect fit.

5: Corey Graves: Continuing his feud with Sami Zayn, Graves took out the NXT fan favorite before his match with Tyler Breeze. Although their last match on NXT wasn’t that special, expect the next chapter to feature much more ferocity. Between his cocky persona, several cool submissions and backbreaker combinations, Graves is a cool combination of Roderick Strong and CM Punk.

4: Bayley: She’s a gem. Adorable, in great shape and magnetic, Bayley has a ton of ability. Her Hug Life gimmick is one that could totally get over with WWE. A girl next door styled Diva, Bayley just needs more ring time and a finisher that could draw more eyes on her. Right now, she’s the fan favorite, but her character is quick to be bullied. Once we see her as a bit stronger, even more fans will flock her way.

3: Mojo Ralwey: He’s got great entrance music, a clear persona and celebrity supporters in the form of New England Patriots Tight End Rob Gronkowski- all he needs is a better finisher and a high-impact set up hold and he’s set. Splashes and a Banzai Drop from an Athletic guy? Try again dude. Give this guy something that showcases his ability and doesn’t make him look as green as he is.

2: Adam Rose: This guy is a party animal. With one of the coolest intros in professional wrestling, Rose, like Mojo Rawley, gets a lot of yes on him before the match starts. A better performer than Rawley, Rose is pretty polished and understands his limitations. His win over Camacho was a solid one, but not too many wrestlers can get by with a Lariat finisher. Although Rose’s is not bad, it’s not enough to get him to the WWE. For now however, Rose is an NXT favorite.

1: Aiden English: Not many wrestlers can sing their way to the ring, but English does. Once in the ring, English held his own much longer than you’d expect against former WWE Champion Sheamus. Overall, he’s got a similar, but smaller build to Antonio Cesaro and is also very smart in the ring. Between his ability in the ring and on the microphone, he’d make a perfect tag team partner for Damien Sandow.
