2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil: Quite possibly the last soccer game designed solely for the Playstation 3 and XBox 360, this is a historic release, but also a game full of depth. If Dad plays games and loves soccer, this is a hard gift to top.

Duracell Powerbank: Everyone needs more power. Just a little stick, these things are great at making sure dad always has enough juice on his iPad, tablet or phone. It may not be his favorite gift at first, but it’ll definitely come in handy.

Resident Alien: Welcome to Earth TPB: If Dad digs comic books, he has to read Resident Alien. Dark Horse’s noir drama featuring one of the coolest characters in the industry today, Resident Alien to the type of series that will make someone a comic book fan or reignite the love for the material. With an earnest and inquisitive writing style and fantastic artwork that captures the variety of emotions conveyed, Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse’s Resident Alien: Welcome to Earth is a wonderful surprise. Visually striking and written almost like a television sitcom, it’s easily approachable and quick to get you hooked. Simply put, don’t be surprised if this series ultimately finds itself on television or on the big screen.

iPad Air: The retina display alone is awesome, but the beefy 128-GB version gives Dad more hard drive flexibility than ever before. Throw in an App Store gift card and you have the gift he’ll brag about to his friends.

Cage the Gods: Badlands: If your dad had fond memories of damn good rock bands like Extreme, Warrant and even Boston, he’ll love this album. This British group is pretty new on the scene and probably someone he’s never heard of, but powered by an enigmatic frontman, excellent guitar work and top notch bass and drums, your dad could finally appreciate indie music.

Subscription to the WWE Network: If he’s a wrestling fan, this is a must. With access available at home or on mobile devices, he can watch his favorite matches and shows anywhere and anytime. mom may hate you for it, but who cares. At $9.99 a month, it’s not a big hit on the wallet either.

Pre-order Madden 15: If Dad plays games, he most likely plays Madden. With a host of new camera angles announced and more details on the way, this years Madden on the PlayStation 4 and XBox One will be awesome. Take into consideration that this is the second year of the series (launch sport titles are usually regarded as weaker) on the new consoles and it’s even more a reason to get it for Dad.

Sleepaway Camp on Blu-Ray: If he’s a cult movie guy, this is THE cult movie to own on Blu-Ray. With one of the most iconic endings in horror history, it’s still spoken about 30 years later. With a bevy of special features on the new Shout Factory release, this is the version of the classic to own.

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls: If Pops plays Diablo, this is a must own. Again, Mom won’t like this gift very much as it is probably likely to steal about ten hours of his life, but who cares. the latest addition to the series, nothing beats fighting the Grim Reaper on another epic journey to save the world. With a cool new story, the improved loot system, and less fetch quests, “Reaper of Souls” is damn good.
