A huge card and a raucous card led the stage for a nifty episode of Monday Night RAW that in spite of mixed results, managed to incorporate a large number of the WWE roster in the action.
Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to see who kept us entertained with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan out of action.
Honorable Mention: Antonio Cesaro: A win over Sheamus may be one of Cesaro’s biggest wins of his WWE career. Although it took interference from Paul Heyman for Cesaro to get the win, he more than held his own with the Celtic Warrior. Make no mistake, expect Cesaro to have the United States title around his waist by Summerslam.
5: Alicia Fox: You know it was a weak show if Fox made the list, but lets be fair. Fox’s win over Paige is one of the biggest of her career and keeps her feud with the new Divas Champion a decent one. With no AJ Lee, Fox has been a better heel than you might expect. Regardless, she still has a ton of work ahead of herself.
4: The Wyatt Family: Bray Wyatt’s promos continue to turn into sermons. Not since Jake Roberts has someone been so damn good on the microphone. Even CM Punk would find it difficult to hold his own against Wyatt on the stick. Although John Cena had a few moments of strength against the Family, Luke Harper had a fantastic match against him, continuing to validate the trio’s screen time.
3: John Cena: With the help of The Usos, Cena continues to stand toe-to-toe with The Wyatt Family. Although he’s nowhere near being the WWE World Heavyweight title contender he was last year at this time, Cena’s work at getting the Wyatt Family over is just as important to the future of the company.
2: Evolution: WWE Creative has done a good job of making Evolution beatable, but they’ve also given the three veterans plenty of opportunities to show their wit and tenacity. Batista, often referred to as the weak link of the group, had one of his strongest matches since his return this past week against The Shield’s Seth Rollins. With tempers continuing to run hot, Evolution will continue to wreak havoc on The Shield.
1: The Shield: The battle with The Evolution is the biggest feud in the company right now and because of that, The Shield is hotter than ever. Seth Rollins match with Batista proved once again that the former NXT Champion is one heck of a singles performer. Dean Ambrose’s witty banter on color commentary was cool as well. Simply put, with Daniel Bryan still out of action, The Shield is helping keep the WWE ship afloat.
