NXT Power Rankings: Can Anyone Beat Neville?

A thin card and lack of storyline development, thanks to a Bo Dallas montage and Tyler Breeze’s music video limited the overall peal of this week’s NXT, although a solid Main Event saved the show for being passable.

Check out this week’s NXT Power Rankings to see who else stood out on a rather lukewarm edition of NXT.

Honorable Mention: Bo Dallas: Not even on the show this week or for the past few weeks, Dallas still found a way to make an impact on NXT. The former champion was honored with a montage which showcased his illustrious NXT career.

5: Mojo Rawley: Still a glorified jobber, Rawley continues to win meaningless matches. Like Bryan Clark during his WCW days, Rawley rarely loses, but isn’t in a situation where he can position himself to get in a title situation. Although he has a good gimmick and a ton of energy, Rawley needs to begin to assert himself more in the ring. The sideshow wins are boring now.

4: Tye Dillinger and Jason Jordan: A solid new team, these guys have a nice combination of strength and technical ability. While they are a bit rough around the edges in term of promo ability, if they let their ring ability do most of the talking, they should be able to challenge The Ascension for the NXT Tag Team titles.

3: Charlotte Flair: Her win over Bayley and the reformation of the BFFs make Flair more dangerous than ever. One of the brightest lights on NXT, Flair must continue to polish her game and work every week. Much like her father, her legacy will be defined by what she does in the ring. Complimented by solid mic work, she can be more than effective if she gets the necessary promo time. This whole BFF faction may be cute now, but in the end, it’s more a distraction.

2: Tyler Breeze: Although he didn’t wrestle this week on NXT, Breeze cut some solid promo and debuted his new “music video.” The #1 contender for the NXT Title, Breeze will get to pick when he gets his shot. Until that time comes, Breeze is sure to make things interesting.

1: Adrian Neville: In defeating Justin Gabriel, Neville added another notch to his belt this week on NXT. While his performance was another solid one, Neville needs to be fed opponents that can grow by being in the ring with him as much as he can make a statement by defeating them. Forgive us for not getting excited to see another WWE lower mid-carder get beat. Bring on Tyler Breeze already.
