NXT Power Rankings: Kidd Out of Options

A few solid matches, but very little storyline development highlighted a weak episode of NXT that continues to prove that NXT depends far too much on its lower card on RAW and Smackdown to fill out their show.

Check out this week’s NXT Power Rankings to see who’s thriving leading into the dog days of summer.

Honorable Mention: Aiden English: With few options left, the downward spiraling English looks to have a new tag team partner. Can this improve his recent fortunes?

5: Bayley: Wins over Charlotte Flair don’t happen every day and for the lovable face Bayley, she gets closer and closer to earning a title shot. With tensions in the BFFs continuing, can Bayley take advantage of the situation? Either way, the youngster is loved by the fans and with a polished move set, she is capable of much more.

4: Colin Cassady: A better version of Mojo Rawley, but not quite Mason Ryan, Cassady is a wrecking machine that does not bump or sell for anyone else. Much like Rawley, he’ll have to expand his arsenal before he can be taken seriously outside the NXT Arena.

3: Sami Zayn: A win over Bo Dallas might be cool, but Zayn needs to be in a real feud. Already the most all-around worker in NXT, Zayn is running out of things to do. With no real shot at the NXT Title either, what is their left for Zayn to accomplish in NXT?

2: Tyson Kidd: After another loss to Neville, where does Kidd go from here? Once one of the top young stars in the company, the former Tag Team Champion is in desperate need of a gimmick makeover or something to get him to the next level.

1: Adrian Neville: If you’re Neville at this point, you’ve got to be bored. Is there anyone new that they can put him in the ring with? Any matchup we haven’t seen yet?
